Douglas Wayne Adams

Douglas Wayne Adams, age 57, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013. He was a very loyal family man that loved being a Papa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Adams and Jacqueline Britt; step father, Thomas Britt; brother, James Adams and sister, Linda King. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Candy Adams; daughters, Shawna (Andrew) Sumner of Sugar Hill, GA and Courtney (Joseph) Lawson of Cumming, GA; grandson, Adam Sumner; brother, Robert Adams of Dahlonega, GA, and sister, Ruby Hawley of Raleigh, NC and other loving relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Doug to Dawson County Humane Society. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
