Dr. James Harold Mason Jr

Dr. James Harold Mason, Jr., 75, of Atlanta and Tifton, GA and Denver and Steamboat Springs, CO, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Dr. Mason was admired by all and left lasting impressions on everyone that met him. Always an active member of the orthodontic community, "Dr. Jim" retired only two months ago. He had a true passion for life and chose to be an optimist. Happiness to him was being surrounded by the people he loved, his wife, patients, friends and family. He was an avid reader, golfer, skier, and enjoyed being in the outdoors. Dr. Jim Mason was a loving husband, father and "Super Doc." Survivors include his wife, Michele Mason; children, Shaun Mason, Christie Pierce, Christine Massey, James H Mason III, James Joshua Mason, Merri Margaret Frank, Kathalyne Mason; 12 grandchildren and a brother, Charlie Mason.
