Fred Dwight McClure passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the age of 82. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Blairsville, GA. He was also an active member of Prospectors Association Club of America and Weekend Gold Miners Prospecting Club. Fred served proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a founder of House of Flowers with his wife Nancy, which is currently Bonnie's Florist in Cumming. Fred is survived by his children, Keith (Claire) McClure of Murryville, GA, Alan (Cindy) McClure of Cumming, GA, Leigh (David) Baker of Dawsonville, GA, John Moore, Georgia, Laurie (Jim)Duncan, Cumming. Sisters and brothers include Lanier McClure of Marietta, GA, Desma Killian, Travelers Rest, SC, and Oberia Bland, Cumming, GA, close friends, Russ and Pam Adkins, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Blackstock and Rev. Frank Whitmire officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens Cemetery.
