E. C. Prather

E. C. Prather, age 78, of Cumming, Ga, passed away on October 20, 2016. He was born in 1938, to the late Dewey and Grace Prather. E. C. was a great farmer and will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and brother. He will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene, Roy, and Robert Prather. He is survived by his children, Tommy and Janice Prather of Dawsonville, GA, Connie Head of Lavonia, GA, and Jason Prather of Dawsonville, GA; step-children, Danny and Terry Rollins both of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Josh Prather, Mark Head, Keith Head, Kevin Head, Miranda Head, and Jason Prather, Jr.; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Leola Prather of Ranger, GA; sisters, Joan Hubbard of Gainesville, GA, and Geraldine Payne of Cumming, GA; along with many other loving friends and relatives. Graveside services for Mr. Prather will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clyde Boling officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Ingram Funeral Home, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to help offset the funeral expenses. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
