Earnest Hamilton Fields

Mr. Earnest Hamilton Fields, age 55 of Talking Rock, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father J. C. Fields and brother Loyd Yancey. Survivors include his mother Lillie Fields of Dahlonega; sisters and brothers-in-law Donna and Tommy Roper of Gainesville, Lisa Franklin of Canton and Sue and Gerald Coker of Lavonia; brother Jimmy Fields of Dahlonega; friend/cousin Gene Garland of Talking Rock; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Blackstock and Rev. Frank Whitmire officiating. Interment will follow in Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
