Eddie Mae Revells, 92, of Cumming, GA, formerly of Thomasville, GA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2011. She was born March 17, 1919 to the late Eddie and Mae Powell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Revells; brothers, Carroll Powell, Eugene Powell, Grady Powell, Ray Powell, and Frank Powell. Eddie Mae attended and was active in North Lanier Baptist Church. She has blessed and touched many lives along her path. She was the oldest in her family and held many positions in her church such as: secretary, treasurer, Sunday School teacher and youth director. She was also the caregiver to her husband and parents. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother... her Lord and family has always been her life! She will be truly missed. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lavon and Arlette Revells of Athens, GA; daughter Janice Revells of Cumming, GA; granddaughter Laura and husband Greg Allen of McDonough, GA; grandson, Christopher and wife Jeannie Revells of Columbia, NC; great-grandchildren, Chase, Victoria and Olivia, Allen, Brennan, David, Gabriella, John-James, Elysiana, Isabella and Havah Revells; sisters, Lenelle Rehberg, Hazel Jordan, Merita and husband Doyle Key, Carolyn and husband Raymond Andrews. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Allen and Allen Funeral Home of Thomasville, GA with Rev. Rhys Key officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, September, 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA and Sunday September 11th from 5:00 p.m. from 7:00 p.m. at Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville, GA. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
