Edna Bee Walker, age 95 of White Oak, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday October 12, 2010 at the Southeast Georgia Health Center. Edna was a lifelong resident of Georgia and was born in Raburn County October 15, 1914. Edna lived in Forsyth County until 1994 when she went to live with her daughter Hazel Walker Evans. While living in Forsyth County Edna was an active member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church where she vocalized with the church choir. Edna was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of The United States of America where she received many certificates for her volunteer service. She was preceded in passing by her husband Will Henry Walker, brothers, Alfred, Tate, Dub, and Kenneth Frady; sisters, Pearly, Bertha, Beulah, Winnell, Annie, and Willie Mae. Survivors include her children, Terry Rocky Walker of Dunnellion, Florida; Hazel Walker Evans of White Oak, Georgia; Grandchildren Lourette Edna McPherson, Lionel Veal, Tonia Hamilton, Barry Veal, Mike Veal, Rondel Veal, Roxanne Walker, Christel Walker, Shenia Parks; Ten great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Frady and Rev. Bill Cowan officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 until the hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
