Edna Grace McBrayer Wheeler, age 91, of Cumming, passed away January 7, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County where she was a homemaker and loved gardening. Edna was a member at Coal Mountain Baptist Church. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Wheeler; son, Robert Wheeler; parents, Oscar and Cora Redd McBrayer; brother, Hoyt McBrayer; sisters, Bertie Bottoms, Willie Mae McBrayer. Survivors include her children, Linda and Lamar Westbrook of Cumming; sister, Hazel McBrayer; grandchildren, Cody and Jennifer Westbrook, Shelby and Mark Cochran, Slade and Elisabeth Westbrook, Kerri Aune, Candice Wheeler; 14 great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Bottoms, Rev. Dexter Gravitt, and Rev. Scott Bailey officiating with the interment to follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family will also receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
