Edna Jewell Bramblett Evans

Mrs. Edna Jewell Bramblett Evans, age 89, a life-long resident of Cumming, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church and attended New Harmony Baptist church for many years where she taught Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years R.W. Evans. Mrs. Evans loved her family. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Delores Evans of Cumming; grandchildren, Bradley and Suzanne Evans and Jennifer and Jason Stowe all of Cumming; great grandchildren, Dylan Evans, Austin Stowe, Ava Stowe and Addison Stowe; sisters, Winnie Tallant and Annette Cain both of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Henry and Louise Evans, Gene and Sarah Evans and Bob and Sue Evans all of Cumming, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Purcell, Rev. David Tinsley, Rev. Jerry Orr and Rev. Jerry Truett officiating. Entombment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Tuesday, June 8th from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, June 9th from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
