Edward Charles Barnes

Edward Charles Barnes, 50, of Forsyth County, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Edward was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed NASCAR and football. He is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Barnes; grandmother, Matilda Barrett and his sister, Sandra Hammons. Survivors include his wife, Angela Barnes; sons and daughter-in-law, Lance and Katie Barnes, Scott Barnes, Ricky Barnes; daughter, Missy Sosbee; brother and sister-in-law, Timmy and Molly Barnes; sister, Michelle Hughes; brother-in-law, Donnie Hammons; 6 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Blackstock and Rev. Beaver Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
