Edward Phillip Crowder

Edward Phillip Crowder, age 69, of Cumming, GA passed away August 01, 2023 from complications of head and neck cancer that he battled since October of 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas Crowder and Sarah German Crowder of Wilmington, Delaware, and brother Charles T. Crowder, Jr., of Wilmington, Delaware.

Mr. Crowder attended Brandywine High School in Wilmington, Delaware and was a graduate of the University of Georgia. He was a very talented Georgia Residential Licensed Home Builder in Forsyth County. He was the owner of WitCo Venture, LLC. Crowder Woodworking became his passion in the last decade building exquisite mission style furniture for his home in Cumming. He would also take on outside projects all revolving around custom woodworking. Other hobbies/passions included quilting, cooking and science fiction media.

He is survived by his Life Partner of 37 plus years, Mary Ann Witcher, of Cumming, GA, sister, Jan Crowder, of New Castle, Delaware and a number of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews also survive. 

At Mr. Crowder’s request he was cremated and there will not be any services to memorialize his passing.
