Edwin Garner

Edwin Garner, age 81 of Cumming, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Edwin was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. G. and Faye Garner; brothers, John Garner, Raymond Garner and Lovic Garner. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Lois Garner of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Janet Garner, Mark and Audrey Garner all of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Lettie Lee Garner of Loganville, Carl and Wanda Garner of Cumming, Dan and Cindy Garner of Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnell Cramer of Cumming, Gladys and Don Waldrip of Gainesville, Lecy and Morris Brunson of Rome; grandchildren, Zack, Ashley, Nathan, Katie and Sam. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 31st at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ruel Martin and Rev. Craig Richard officiating. Interment will follow in Coal Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
