Elaine Marie Jambro

Elaine Jambro was born in Byrnedale, Pennsylvania on March 12th, 1945. She entered Heavens gates on October 3, 2017. She was truly an Angel of God, put everyone first and had the patiences of a loving Saint. We shared, laughed, cried, and prayed for a safe passage into heaven for our precious mother, beloved grandmother, beloved spouse, fabulous homemaker, and dedicated registered nurse. Elaine was an excellent cook baker, and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Over the years she collected cookbooks and prepared meals with special recipes that she shared with only a select group of family. She also loved to sew, make brilliant table centerpieces, and decorate the house for the holidays with such perfection. For family birthdays she would bake and decorate great cakes upon request with exquisite attention to detail. She gave herself to family when they were in need without an equivocation. She truly was an Angel of god to appear ready and able to help whenever there was a call or need. On any given day she would be helping to support her grandchildren with having to sew a last minute costume, hem a dress for a course concert, make a quick meal before a sport practice, attend a doctor visit, attend to sick children, change a diaper, check on a napper, make a bottle, or just sit next to us as a companion for support. Truly one of the most unselfish and loving gifts from god we will ever know. On any given day as she unselfishly performed these duties her children looked on, brushed the sweat from their brow, reveling in how she mastered such duties for them as well while being their mother.

Elaine had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church in Cumming GA for the past 10 years, prior to she practiced her faith at Holy Name of Jesus in Greece, NY for over 30 years. Over the years, Elaine was able to take time off from being a nurse and raised her children. Originally she worked at Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital in St. Marys PA, Washington General Hospital in DC,, Strong Hospital in Rochester NY, and then finished here Nursing career at Greece Athena High School in Greece, NY. In between her nursing career she was also a talented homemaker. She passed her homemaker talents on to her children and grandchildren.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents Clara Reed Deno Chiappelli, Sister Gloria Garbarino (Gogi) Brother in-law Robert Garbarino (Rusty), and granddaughter Addyson Peach. Jambro, Brother in laws Joe, Tom, and Bob Jambro, Uncle Richard Reed (Dickie), Brother and Sister in-law Gerald (Bumba) Shawn Chiappelli, Son and Daughter in-law John Wendy Jambro, Daughter and Son in-law Jaclyn Ryan Peach, Nephew and Niece Jessica Hazzard (Garbarino), and Tony Garbarino.
