Elba Nydia Rivera

Elba Nydia Rivera, age 67, formerly of Haverstraw, NY, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born in Puerto Rico. She was very proud of her children, and loved to cook and serve her family. She was a devout Catholic. Her colorful spirit will be missed by many. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Luis Rivera; children Glenda (Abelsain) Santiago, Luis (Christine) Rivera, Ricardo (Kathleen) Rivera; sisters and brothers, Angelo Rivera, Armando Rivera, Lydia Borgos, Hector Rivera; mother, Maria Figueroa; grandchildren, Damian, Christopher and Caitlyn Santiago, Cassandra, Lauren, Samuel, Sabrina and Sophia Rivera; great-grandchildren, Mia Rae Santiago and Jake Santiago. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Parish in Haverstraw, NY.
