Elizabeth Hicks

ELIZABETH HICKS,88, of Duluth, Georgia passed away on February 8th, 2011.

Elizabeth Johnson Hicks was born January 15, 1922 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to the late George and Mattie Johnson. She went to sit at the right hand of the father on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She graduated from Temple University with a B. S. in social work and worked at Kelly School in Philadelphia for her entire career. She touched many lives with her unshakeable faith. She moved to Georgia in 2004 and remained there until her passing.
She leaves to cherish precious memories: Estar & Brian Ducksworth, their daughter Estar, two brothers Roger and John Louis Johnson, a host of other relatives, and friends. She will be laid to rest in Live Oak, Florida with her husband John B. Hicks.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for I am where I love to be in the presence of my God.
