Elizabeth Phillips Ragan

Elizabeth Phillips Ragan, age 81, of Hartwell, GA, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. Elizabeth was an LPN at Dekalb General Hospital for 30 years and prior to that was at Joan Glancy Hospital in Duluth for 10 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norris Vaughan and her brother, Herman Phillips. Survivors include her children, Tony (Brandi) Vaughan of Oklahoma, Terry Knott of Lavonia, GA, Jannie (James) Bullard of Alabama, Gerald Vaughan of Hartwell, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise Pirkle, Barbara and Randall Day, Joyce and Ralph Perry all of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Susan Phillips of Florida; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and other loving friends and family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Coffman officiating. Interment will follow at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
