Elizabeth P. Wofford

Bessie Elizabeth Page Harris Wofford, age 90 of Cumming, Georgia, went to her Heavenly Home, Saturday July 6, 2024. She was preceded in death by both her first husband Harold Harris and her second husband Bobby Wofford and siblings, Billy Page, Marilyn Page, Lamar Page.

She was a member of Concord Baptist Church of Silver City, Cumming Ga for over 60 years. During this time, she served many years as Church Secretary and volunteered as a Sunday School Teacher, WMU Member, Celebration Choir Member, Oasis Choir Member, and VBS Worker.

Elizabeth loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, and in her earlier years was known to be excellent at water skiing. She and her first husband, Harold Harris, spent many weekends on Lake Lanier enjoying boating and water skiing.

Elizabeth also loved her savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed attending many revival and church services in the community with her second husband Bobby Wofford.

She is survived by her son Tony (Karen) Harris of Cumming, grandsons Jason Harris of Cumming and Christopher (Emily) Harris who is currently serving in the Air Force overseas and their children Bethany and Grayson, & siblings, Blair Page, Allen Page, Janice Page.

She is also survived by stepsons Joey (Cindy) Wofford of Lynchburg, Virginia, and their children Savannah (Logan) Staples, Russell, Sommer, and Sarah and Ben (Stacie) Wofford of Cumming Ga and their son Benson.

Numerous relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Concord Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Gilbert, Rev. Rubin Smith, and Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens Cemetery in Cumming, GA.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 1:00 until 2:45 at Concord Baptist Church, 6905 Concord Rd. Cumming GA 30040.
