Emilie Christine Moyers Lizama, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away Sunday, February 7th, 2021 at the age of 84.
Emilie "Chris" was born September 18th, 1936 and raised in Waynesboro Virginia. She was wed to Vincent "Jack" Lizama, who preceded her in death, for 48 years. They had many adventures in their life as they traveled and lived many places, their favorite being Hawaii and Virginia prior to finally settling in Georgia. Chris enjoyed dancing, singing in the church choir, cooking (Christmas breakfast at its finest), kittens of all ages and most of all being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Emilie "Chris" is survived by her children, Catherine, Mark (Donna), John (Teresa), Cynthia (Cyndy) and Joseph, sister Ruby White, brother Rufus Thompson Jr., 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Greg.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 13th, 2021, followed by a memorial service at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the backpack fund at the First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro GA (firstpresjonesboroga.org) in our mother's memory.
