Enoch Emmon Morrow, age 95, of Cumming, GA, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. He was born in Violet, NC and a graduate of Murphy High School in Murphy, NC. After high school, he worked for the TVA in construction of Appalachia Dam on Hiawassee Lake. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army serving from 1942 to 1945 38th Infantry Cyclone Division in the Pacific. He was a decorated Veteran including the American Theater Campaign, Philippine Liberation and Good Conduct Medal USAAFFE.
He was a graduate of Washington University School of Dentistry in 1953 and practiced dentistry in Asheville, Ohio from 1953 to 1971, then in Tucker, GA from 1972 to 1987 and in Dawsonville, GA from 1973 to 1985. He married Irene Morrow on April 19, 2003. He was married to Helen Louise Morrow, the mother of his children, June 10, 1947 until her death August 28, 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Morrow of Cumming, GA; children, Earl Wayne Patti Morrow of Williamson, GA, Michelle L. Morrow of Cumming, GA, Melinda Grosch of Roswell, GA; grandson, Christopher Campbell Morrow his wife, Dyan Morrow; great-granddaughter, Eileen Cornelia Morrow.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22nd at 1:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Elder and Chaplain Stan Lummus officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 pm at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.
