Ethel Louise Benefield

Ethel Louise Benefield, 98, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. Ethel was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a great cook known for her wonderful pies. Ethel enjoyed flowers, gardening and traveling. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ivan Benefield and son-in-law, Weldon Tallant.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy and Sheryl Benefield, Louise Tallant, Frances and Larry Crum; grandchildren, Jennifer and Paul Hamby, Todd Benefield and Becky Ray, Brandon and Kim Benefield, Matt and Shelly Tallant, Travis and Sallie Tallant, James Carlton Crum; great grandchildren, Grant Benefield, Kaylee Benefield, Tate Benefield, Sawyer Benefield, Parker Ray, Campbell Ray, Sharon Tallant, Brody Tallant, Trent Tallant, Madelyn Tallant; sisters, Marie Pruitt and Sarah Howard.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13, at 3:00 pm at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Carrel Pruitt and Rev. Cecil Pruitt officiating.
