Ethel Davis Scott

Ethel Davis Scott, loving wife, mother and grandmother, 93, of Cumming passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015. Ethel was a retired school teacher from Forsyth County, devotedly teaching at Cumming High School, Cumming Elementary School and Chestatee High School. She was the oldest living member of Antioch Baptist Church. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Scott, and parents, Jewel and Irene Davis of Cumming. Survivors include her son Davis (Kristi) Scott and daughter, Jessica (Chuck) Smith, and grandchildren Thomas Scott and Chase Smith, all of Cumming. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Reverend Kent Samples officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Wednesday, 12:00 noon until time of service. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, Cumming, GA. is in charge of arrangements.
