Eurell Gazaway Shadburn, 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 13, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and the oldest member of Beaver Ruin Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charnell Shadburn; two daughters, Christine Tibbitts and Joyce Shadburn; and a granddaughter, Denise Talley. She is survived by five children, Shirley (and Robert) Martin, Sadie (and Dave) Montgomery, Martha (and Bobby) Grant, Loyd (and Joyce) Shadburn, and Helen (and Wayne) Cagle. She also leaves behind a legacy of fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and seventeen great great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Shadburn will be at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday, April 14, 2017, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home. Ministers for her service will be her brother-in-law, Roger Shadburn, her oldest grandson, Ronnie Tibbitts, and her son-in-law, Robert Martin. Interment will be at Sawnee View Gardens. The family of Mrs. Shadburn would like to offer special thanks and appreciation for the extraordinary tender loving care she received at Gracemont Assisted Living and from Heartland Hospice.
