Evelyn Jane Fennell

Evelyn Jane Fennell, age 79, entered into the loving arms of Jesus in the early hours of Monday, April 10th, 2023. Evy, as her friends called her, was preceded in death by her parents Earl Edward Chase and Miriam Eunice Watt Chase both of Bennington, Vermont and her brother Robert Andrew Chase, nephew Bradley Chase, and niece Cheryl Chase. Evy is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Fennell; children, Malinda (David) Apanay and Carmen (Mike) Willings; grandchildren Andrew Willings and Matthew Willings. 

Evy found joy in serving Christ and lived her faith every day. She loved being involved in the church ministry including the children’s ministry, music ministry (choir, piano, organ, and handbells), and participating in missions trips to Ukraine, Japan, China and Brazil. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and crafts and she always had a song in her heart. She had a wonderful sense of humor and her passion and desire was to help others know the Lord. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
