Evelyn Jean Matthews

Evelyn Jean Matthews, age 83 of Buford, GA, formerly of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012. She retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Matthews and parents, Fred Emil and Margaret Jane Cox Davis. Survivors include her children, Judy Rowe of Buford, GA, Lindy and David Outz of Atlanta, GA, Steve and Sheila Mahle of Naples, FL, Donna and Jim Sanregret of Fayetteville, GA, Mike and Pam Matthews of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren, Kayla and Shaun Lowther of Buford, GA, Marina and Remy Santos of Cape Coral, FL, Mathew Mahle of Ft. Myers, FL, Warren Mahle of Ft. Myers, FL, Eleanore Mahle of Lehigh Acres, FL, Michelle and Josh Glanton of Fayetteville, GA, Bobby and Stephanie Cote of Peachtree City, GA; and several great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday September 29th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mike Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until hour of the service.
