Evelyn Richards Stancil

Evelyn Richards Stancil, age 86, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. She was born in 1935, to the late Dewey and Ruth Baker Richards. Evelyn was a member of Etowah Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA. She was a Bus driver for Forsyth County Schools for over 20 years. She was a homemaker and a loving mother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Stancil; and siblings, Lee Joe Richards, Jack Richards, and Allie Williams.

She is survived by her children, Wanda (Danny) Reid, Debra (Franky) Mitchell, Patricia (Louis) Alderman, and David Stancil; 3 grandchildren, Olivia Miles, Scott Mitchell, and Elijah Stancil; 1 step grandchild, Brad Reid; 4 great grandchildren, Belle Miles, Jeffery and Parker Mitchell, Wesley Stancil; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Ronald Pruitt and Rev. Troy Milford Officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Due to the present health concerns with Covid, we ask that mask and social distancing guidelines be met.
