Evelyn V. Martin

Evelyn V. Martin, age 83 of Acworth, formerly of Cumming, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Annie Cabe; spouses, Troy Dinsmore, Sr., in 2001 and Hiram C. Martin in 2004; brothers, Luther Cabe, John W. Cabe and Hubert L. Cabe. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Peggy and Willis Peels of Alpharetta, Nancy Moore of Acworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Elaine Dinsmore of Sparta, Johnnie Michael Dinsmore, Floyd and Sally Martin; 3 granddaughters; 8 grandsons; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Eddie Cain and rev. Johnnie O'Brian officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am till hour of service.
