Ezzie "chub" Harris

Mrs. Ezzie Chub Harris, age 89, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008. She was a member of Bethelview United Methodist Church. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Harris; son, Wilburn Edgar Harris; sisters, Edith OBryant, Addie Charles and Ollie McPhail; brother, Arvil Waters; sons-in-law, Herman Nichols and Jerry McWhorter. Survivors include children, Sarah Nichols of Cumming, Wynett and Robert Teems of Cumming, Everett and Brenda Harris of Hoover, AL, David and Gloria Harris of Cumming, and Rupert and Wanda Harris of Cumming; special nephew Marcus and Evelyn Waters of Cumming; brother-in-law, A. A. McPhail, Jr. of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Rufus and Louise Harris of Smyrna; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 24, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at Bethelview United Methodist Church with Rev. Ruel Martin and Rev. Deborah Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Bethelview UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, November 24, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia will be in charge of arrangements.
