F. Lamar Clark, a native of Mobile, Alabama and resident of Alpharetta, Georgia, died at his residence on August 17, 2010. He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Ann H. Clark; his loving son, Joe and daughter-in-law, Nori; his adoring grandchildren, Tommy and Angela Clark all of Suwanee, Georgia; one sister, Gini C. Nelson (Ed) of Spanish Fort, Alabama; and a brother-in-law John Hudgens (Debbie) of Creola, Alabama; one uncle, Gerald Clark of Millbrook, Alabama, many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Flossie Clark, sisters, Sue C. Ryals and Karen C. Connell. Mr. Clark was a resident of Woodbridge, New Jersey for 37 years and retired as Senior Vice President of Hess Corporation. He was with the company for 45 years at retirement. Mr. Clark retired to Alpharetta, Georgia to be near his grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and was affectionately known as Papa. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His kind generosity was well known to many people. Visitation will be at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia on Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm followed by a graveside service at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Schmid officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Whispering Hope in care of First Redeemer Church, 2100 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, Georgia 30041-7497. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
