Frances Hazel Jeanette Fields, 85, of Dawsonville passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. Hazel was born July 6, 1935 in Cumming and was a devoted Child of God. Hazel was a loving mother and Granny who loved her family. She enjoyed going to church and adored her church family. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Richard E.C. Fields; and a grandson, Matthew Fields.
Survivors include her children, Lois and Michael Jackson of Cumberland Furnace, TN, Geneva and Bobby Summers of Dawsonville, Peggy and Frankie Reece of Dawsonville, Scott and Amy Fields of Cumming; grandchildren, Melissa Fields, Kimberly Suggs, Keisha Frady, Crystal Waycaster, Chasity Hollifield, Amber Ramsey, Justin Jenkins, April Reece, Jeanett Pettit, Adams Fields, Garrett Jackson, Ashley Mekrut; 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 24, at 1:00 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Manders officiating. Interment will follow at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
