Frances Lee Wintersteen

Frances Lee Wintersteen, age 85 passed away on September 22, 2014 at approximately 11:38 am. She was born Frances Lee Haltiwanger on Christmas Eve 1928 to Henry Voight and Anna Lee Haltiwanger in Chapin, South Carolina. Frances had one brother Bryce Haltiwanger. At age 16 Frances had a job and moved to Columbia, South Carolina and later to Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta is where she met and married Richard Lem Wintersteen. Richard and Frances have 3 children Donna Lynn Wintersteen, Richard Eric Wintersteen and Harold Kirk Wintersteen, and they have one grandson, Richard Dylan Wintersteen. Frances was a devoted wife and a loving mother who had a strong faith in the Lord. Her devoted husband, loved children and grandson will miss her and now have a void in their hearts. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30th at 12:00pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Erik Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30pm. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 30th from 11:00am until the time of service.
