Francis E. Bowen

Radioman 1st Class Francis E. Bowen, age 84, of Cumming, GA, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. He was a retired United States Navy veteran after 30 years of service. He also retired from the State of Florida after 20 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and Vietnam Veterans of America.

He is survived by his wife, Michele M. (Stephenson) Bowen; children, J. Dawn Brown, J. Patrick Bowen, J. Denise Martin, and J. Dana Friend; siblings, Charles Miller and Carolyn Schler; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the VVA Chapter 1030, P.O. Box 3088, Cumming, GA 30028.
