Frank T. Ray, Jr., age 90 of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Frank was born in Tampa, FL and he had lived many years in Atlanta before moving to Cumming in 1976. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margie, of 58 years. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa and her husband, Manny Baeza of Cumming; granddaughter, April Holly and her husband, Gregory Pitts of Dawsonville, GA; granddaughter, Melody Ray Baeza of Fernandina Beach, FL; great grandson, Henry Mason Pitts; brother, Leon G. Ray of Stephens City, VA. Frank was a veteran of WWII having served in the European Theater of Operations in which he was awarded five battle stars and a Certificate of Recognition from the Vice Consul of France for his service in France. Graveside services will be held, Saturday, December 28th at 2:00 pm with full military honors at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Saturday from 1:00 pm until hour of the service with a funeral procession to the cemetery.
