Garland C. Barron

Garland C. Barron, age 90, of Cumming, GA passed away at his home surrounded by family on April 9, 2021. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a Master Mason and a sixty-year member of Matt Masonic Lodge # 694 F&AM. He also served as a Forsyth County Commissioner from 1977 to 1981. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a heating contractor for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Atticus & Roxie Barron, brothers & sisters, Curtis Barron, Paris Barron, Odell Barron, R.A. Barron, Jr., Ruby Sexton and Jeanette Adams.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margie Barron, daughter & son-in-law, Lisa & Ron Morgan, of Cumming, grandsons, Taylor Morgan & Samuel Morgan, many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday April 12, 2021 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard & Rev. Garry English officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
