Gay Nell Cochran

Gay Nell Cochran, age 89, of Milton, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013. Gay Nell was a member of Christ Community Church in Cumming. She was an avid reader, loved working her crossword puzzles and was also a great cook. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Cochran; her parents, Ted and Viola Bowman and great granddaughter, Taylor Simonds. Survivors include her children, Ted (Cheryl) Cochran, Shawn (Barbara) Cochran, Van (Marilyn) Cochran, Bronwyn (Mike) Randel, Casey (Linda) Cochran, Cathryn (Nick) Olympiadis, Kevin (Susan) Cochran; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. There are a total of 66 members of her beautiful family. She loved each of them and was proud of all. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Community Church with Rev. Jason Skipper officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
