George Ellsworth Quigley

George Ellsworth Quigley, Sr, age 82, of Dawsonville.GA, passed away on Wednesday. December 8th in Cumming, Georgia at Northside Forsyth Hospital.

Mr, Quigley was born on July 24, 1934 in Port Salerno, FL. He is pre-deceased by his parents; Owen and Rosa Quigley, his sister, Rosemary Stevenson, brothers; Jesse Quigley and Joe Quigey. He graduated from Stuart High School and attended Indian River College. He retired from City of Stuart Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma C Quigley, daughter, Debora & David Bales (Jasper); son, George E. Quigley, Jr. ( Dawsonville) and Gary Quigley (South Carolina). He also has 10 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, December 11th at 2:30 p.m. At Lighthouse Baptist Church, 329 Harmony Church Road, Dawsonville, GA. The family will receive friends and family between 1:30-2:30 p.m.
