Gerald Lee (Moley) McKinzie of Suwanee, born April 28, 1957 in Duluth, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Gerald was the owner of Geralds Auto and Tow service for 25 years. He was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church and spent his life loving The Lord, his family and his many valued customers. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace McKinzie; brother, Jerry D. McKinzie; mother-in-law, Della Mae Crocker; brother-in-law, Harry McKinzie. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Deborah S. McKinzie of Suwanee; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amanda McKinzie of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Mike Hyde of Suwanee; 8 grandchildren, Nelson, Zachary, Madilyn, Morgan, Nolan, Madison, Ariel and Logan; brother, Stanley S. McKinzie of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and David Hickey of Cumming, Joan and Tommy Swancey of Blue Ridge, Jean and Randy Thornburg of Blue Ridge, Glenda McKinzie of Monroe; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Teresa McKinzie of Suwanee, Elizabeth and Rudolph Barrett of Doraville, Joyce and Donnie Dinsmore of Suwanee, Kathy McKinzie of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Cheryl McKinzie of Cumming, Larry and Debbie McKinzie of Jacksonville, FL, R. D. McKinzie of Templeton, TX and Coy Crocker of Cumming; his right hand man, Jose Rodriguez; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3rd, at 2:00 pm at Cross Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Ruben Boling, Rev. Johnny Purcell, Rev. Todd Skinner and Rev. Bobby Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
