Gerald Wayne Eaker

Mr. Gerald Wayne Eaker, SPHR, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, age 52 of Cumming, GA passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, William Edward Eaker. Gerry was the UPS Corporate Global Fleet Safety Manager and had been employed by UPS for 32 years. He graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics and holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University. Gerry was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, holds a private pilot license, a certified scuba diver license and a U.S. Coast Guard License. Survivors include his wife, Cokkie Eaker of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Cassandra (Eaker) and Ewan Dickson of Chicago and their son, Callum; daughter Kellina Eaker of Tucson, AZ; mother, Helen Eaker of Clearwater, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Billiejean and Richard Kile of Largo, FL, and their children, Nicole and Aaron and their families; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Bonnie Eaker of Seminole, FL and their children, Alyssa Eaker and Frank Harrison; step-children, Kelly West and Spenser West; a large extended family also survive. The family will receive friends Monday, January 4, 2010 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with a Prayer Service being held at 6:30pm. Friends and family are invited to join in a Celebration of Gerrys Life at his residence immediately following the Prayer Service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
