Bertha "Gertrude" Rawls, age 91, of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on February 28, 2025, ending her fight with ALZ. She was born February 23, 1934, to Minnie and William Cagle, Birmingham AL. She is survived by her three children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Daughter, Debbie Vitulli, Pensacola FL, son, Charles "David" Rawls and partner Sharyn, Summerville SC, and daughter, Melissa Kemp and husband Jeff Kemp, Cumming, GA. Grandchildren; Anali Vitulli and her fiancé Jacob Dawalt, Cumming GA (Debbie), Brittney Muegge her husband Jacob and great grandchild Lillian, Ruffin, SC (David), and Christopher Kemp, his wife Cassie and great grandchildren Rylan and Kinsley, Cumming GA (Melissa) and Amanda Kemp and her fiancé, Amanda, Sandy Springs, GA (Melissa). Also survived by her youngest brother Douglas Cagle and wife Patsi, Birmingham, AL and many cousins, nieces and nephews. We would be amiss not to mention a long-term friend, Laura Lowkowski. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles David Rawls, Sr (2004). Jeff Williams, fiancé (2021) (Debbie) Also her parents, Minnie and William Cagle, her siblings, Curtis, Otis, Lenora, Floyd, and Evelyn and many wonderful family and friends not mentioned. The family had planned to gather, Saturday, March 1, 2025 to celebrate her 91st birthday... instead we will celebrate her life.
