Gladys Wynelle Nichols, age 96, of Suwanee, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Wynelle enjoyed "digging in the dirt", raising her beloved chickens and growing flowers. She enjoyed writing poems and she even wrote her life story. Her greatest love and joy was raising her children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vanus Nichols; parents, Euel and Estella Terry; children, Gladys and Dewayne Nichols; brothers, Ira, Hulon and E.J. Terry; and sister, Edna Cain. She is survived by her children, Herbert (Linda) Nichols of Suwanee, GA, Tillman Nichols of Austell, GA, Merlene Graham of Suwanee, GA, Peggy (Steve) Kelso of Suwanee, GA, Vianne (R.L.) Couch of Cumming, GA, and Vince Nichols of Suwanee, GA; and a numerous amount of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Nichols will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. R.L. Couch and Rev. Danny Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
