Gladysteen Pirkle

Gladysteen Pirkle, age 88, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born in 1933, to the late Mack and Mary Duran. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Gladysteen enjoyed baking, crocheting and sewing. She would make alterations for the public at her home and with Belks. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Pirkle; son, Wayne Pirkle; and sisters, Etheleen Pilcher, and Elaine Tallant.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Glendon and Sharon Pirkle; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank (Linda) Duran, Thurman (Amelia) Duran, and Davis (Barbara) Duran; brother-in-law, Herman Tallant; grandchildren, Stephanie (Barry) Millwood and their children, Alexis and Alyssa; Jeremy (Jeanette) Pirkle and their children, Jackson, Jameson, and John Luke; Matthew (Chantay) Pirkle and their children, Landry, Katelyn, and Aj; Erin Pirkle and fiancé Will Vaughn, and Brandon Hughes; along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Rodney Pilcher, Rev. Jack Pilcher and Jeremy Pirkle officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
