Gordon Bud Stubbings

Gordon Bud Stubbings age 87 passed away May 28, 2010. A lifelong resident of Wauconda/Lake Zurich, Illinois until retiring from Peter Baker & Sons in 1984, he then moved to sunny Winterhaven, Florida enjoying his retirement until his illness in February 2010. He then moved to Cumming, Georgia to his daughters home. Bud served in the U.S. Army in WW II and was a decorated Veteran including The Purple Heart and Bronze Star, 756th Tank BN 3rd ID Company Caroline. Mr. Stubbings is survived by three daughters, Marion Bond, Jeanette Wallner and Linda Brooks, four sons, Tom, Tim, Mark and Scott Gorczyca. Sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and one nephew, one niece and cousins. Also Loving Friend Jean Arant and many other close friends.

Funeral Services will be 1 PM Monday, May 31st, 2010 at Georgia National Cemetery with full military honors.
