Govan Bagwell

Govan Bagwell, age 90, of Cumming, Georgia passed away in hospice on Thursday, December 17th, 2020. He was born to William "Bill" Bagwell and Effie Waldrip-Bagwell on August 10th, 1930. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Martha Charles-Bagwell, and his son, Darren Govan Bagwell, sisters, Bonnie Sexton, Claudia Little, and niece Rita Gravley.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Deliah and Rex Gravitt, grandchildren, Evan, Gabriel, and Alexander Gravitt, sister-in-laws Margie Charles, and Sheila C. Coheley, nieces and nephews Pam and Steve Bennet, Rickie and Tammy Sexton, Mo and Gary Andriate, Tyrus Holbrook, Lisa and Richie Brown, Deana and Daniel Sergile, Clint and Michelle Charles, Ginger and Rick Smith, Jimmy and Julie Charles, Brian and Melissa Alphin, Bill Moore and Hope Moore, and many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19th from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Sunday, December 20th from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Services will be officiated by Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Craig Richard, and Rev. Garry English.
