Gregory (Greg) Charles Enriquez, age 47, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2022.

Greg is survived by his parents, Manny Enriquez and Vicky Holder; his stepfather, David Holder; his sister, Amy O'Kelley and brother in law, Robert O’Kelley;  nephew, Austin Kalar; niece, Alexis Kalar; grandmother, Olga Aparicio;  uncle, Armando Aparicio; uncle, Sergio Aparicio (Laurel); aunt, Nancy Deschepper; aunt, Robin Colber (John); aunt, Kelley Moore (Bill); stepsister, April Patterson (Jeremy); stepbrother, Brian Holder —— along with a large extended family and many friends.

Greg was born in Queens, New York on October 5th, 1974.  He graduated from Norcross High School, attended Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia and Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California.

Greg was highly respected by his peers and known as a man of his word. Family and friends remember Greg as a Christian and someone who was always bringing people together. He had an unparalleled gift for making family and friends feel valued and respected.

Greg was an avid soccer player and enjoyed playing and watching a multitude of other sports. He had a unique talent in art, music, sports and trivia. He played guitar, bass guitar and several other musical instruments and had a tremendous knowledge and love of music.  

Greg loved the outdoors. He traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad. These trips became his favorite memories and he loved to tell you about his experiences while traveling.  He loved the mountains and the beach.

Anyone who has known Greg or had a relationship with him, knows what a good heart he had. He was the bright light in any room he was in.  His laughter was contagious and his charisma unforgettable.

The world is dark without Greg, but the sun is brighter with him.  Greg is already, and will forever, be deeply missed by his family, friends, business associates and all who knew him. We pray he is finally resting.  We will grieve his loss until we meet again.

A viewing and funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia.  Viewing hours are from Noon to 2:00 pm., followed by his eulogy service at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow funeral at 4 o’clock, Saint Brendan’s Catholic Church.

Gregory will be remembered in the Prayers of the Faithful at St. Brendan The Navigator Masses, May 14 & 15, and The Very Rev. Fr. Matthew VanSmoorenburg, L.C., V.F, and Pastor, will preside at the Memorial Service May 14th.

Final resting place and celebration of Greg’s life gathering to be announced at a later date.
