Hardy Lee Waldrop

Hardy Lee Waldrop, age 75, of Canton passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. Hardy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He grew up on a farm in Forsyth County; the youngest of five children to the late Charlie Oliver and Estelle Majors Waldrop. Hardy was a retired sewing machine mechanic who loved hunting. He was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Violet Waldrop of Canton; daughters, Michelle Waldrop of Cumming, Lisa Hornback and Tammy Toney, both of Canton; grandchildren, Lindsey King, Lauren King, Hayden Galloway; great grandchildren, Willow Mooney and Jaxon Richert. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Padgett officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
