Harold D. Grogan

Harold D. Grogan, age 84, of Cumming passed away, Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Mr. Grogan was a member and deacon of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Grogan; son, Ricky Grogan; and parents, Hoyt and Jewell Grogan.

Harold was a lifetime resident of Forsyth County. He was a member of Forsyth County Singing Class, Forsyth County Quartet, Pleasant Grove Quartet, Mt. Pisgah Church Quartet, trio and choir.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Michelle and Dan White of Lathemtown; daughter in law, Joy Grogan of Cumming; grandchildren, Derrick (Kelley) Grogan of Cumming, Trevor Grogan of Cumming, Chastity (Cody) West of Waleska, and Lance White of Lathemtown; great grandchildren, Timothy, Mina and Hope Grogan of Cumming, Tanner, Tayton and Paisley West of Waleska; sister, Ellen Carnes of Cumming; niece, Amy (Michael) Sanford of Cumming; along with many other nieces and nephews..

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Sanford and Rev. Randy Richards officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. til hour of service.
