Harold “Sack” Dean Bolton

Harold “Sack” Dean Bolton, 81, of Dahlonega, passed away suddenly on January 19, 2023.

Harold was born on September 5, 1941 to Rufus Clay (“Sack”) and Emma Inez (Hardin) Bolton in Atlanta, GA.  After Harold graduated from Forsyth County High School in 1959, he went on to graduate from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his first child, Clay Donald Bolton.

Harold is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; son Kevin Fowler and his wife Stephanie; daughter Jenni Waller and her husband Mark, their sons Bryan, Brandon and his fiancée Hannah Sumner; daughter Mary Beth Fowler and her son Christian Haygood; son Brook Bolton and his wife Staci, and their children Braydon, Brookann, Brynn and Brielle.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the white chapel of Cumming Baptist Church in Cumming, Ga. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:30 am, with Visitation beginning at Ingram Funeral Home at 10:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Harold was a generous man of strong faith, who loved his family and friends, and supported many in need.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

His favorite charity was Tunnel to Towers Foundation (https://t2t.org).
