Harry Lee Panagopoulos

Mr. Harry Lee Panagopoulos, age 60, of Tarpon Springs Florida passed away on Sunday February 28th, 2021. He was born on August 27th, 1960 in Harare, Zimbabwe to the late Christo and Dorothy Panagopoulos. Harry married and raised his family in South Africa before moving to the United States. Harry moved to the United States with his family in 1997 and became a United States citizen in 2006. Harry has been an entrepreneur all of his life. He was always thinking of business ideas and his next steps. Before moving to the United States, he owned and operated many successful restaurants. After moving to Georgia, he opened restaurants, a therapy clinic for children with special needs, as well as a traveling agency. After moving to Florida in 2016 Harry opened a restaurant in Tarpon Springs. Harry loved Tarpon Springs and had found a place of peace and happiness. He was a friendly, jovial, and loving man. He never met a stranger and always opened his home, heart and table to everyone he met.

He is survived by his children, Chris and Meghan Panagopoulos of Cumming, Ga, and Eli Panagopoulos of Cumming, Ga; siblings, Arty Antoniades of Cumming, Ga, Nikitas Panagopoulos of Atlanta, Ga; nieces and nephews, Christopher Routledge of Atlanta Ga, Natalia Panagopoulos Nuchols of Atlanta, Ga, and Dimitri Panagopoulos of Atlanta Ga; grandchild, Christina Elise Panagopoulos.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday March 8th, 2021 at noon. Harry's service will be held at Saints Raphael, Nicholas, and the Irene Greek Orthodox Church in Cumming Ga. The service will be officiated by Father Barnabas Powell. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens Cemetery in Cumming Ga. Condolences may be sent to the family at ingramfuneralhome.com or stsrni.org. Ingram Funeral home of Cumming Ga and the Greek Orthodox Church of Cumming will be in charge of the arrangements.
