Harry Jefferson Burns

HARRY JEFFERSON BURNS, 73, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday May 10th, 2011 following a period of illness.

Harry was a member of Christian Hill Baptist Church in Cumming. He was a loving husband and father. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Burns, sisters, Martha Goforth, Pearl Hullander and Gladys Lewis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Evelyn Burns; children, Eulon and Penny Burns of Gainesville, GA, Larry and Lisa Holland of Ball Ground, GA and Allen Burns of Dahloenga, GA; grandchildren, Eulon Carter Burns, Jr, Samuel Burns, Nicole Holland, Mike Holland and Mitch Holland; sisters, Mary Williamson of Alpharetta, GA, Harriett Davis of Pennsylvania, Louise Goforth of Plainville and Lois Greeson of Chatsworth.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday May 13th, 2011 from the hours or 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 14th, 2011 at 1:00pm at the Byars Funeral Home Chapel.
