Harvene Vandergrift

Harvene Vandergrift, age 84, of Cumming, formerly of Pine Mountain, AL passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Auston Vandergrift, her parents, Harvey and Etta Allen and a brother, Max Allen. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Laurie (Pirkle) Vandergrift of Cumming; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Joseph Vandergrift; sisters and brother-in-law, Faye and Donald Ingle of Wilson, NC, Kathleen Head of Locust Fork, AL; brother and sister-in-law, J.W. and Margaret Allen of Decatur, AL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday at the Lemley Funeral Home, Oneonta, AL, from 11:00 a.m. (C.S.T.) until the time of the service. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, at 2:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) at the Lemley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greens Chapel Cemetery in Cleveland, AL.
