Hazel Lamb Corn, age 89, of Cumming, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Hazel was born in 1929, to the late Robert Emory and Ora Fouts Lamb. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Hazel and her husband, Amon Corn both owned and operated Corn Hatchery, Corn Printing, and also operated a poultry farm for many years. She was a loving grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Amon Luther Corn; son, Lowell Corn; daughter, Martha Grogan; sister, Daisy Wallace; and Grandson, Alex Corn.
Hazel leaves behind a grandson, Joey Amon Grogan; brother-in-law, Edmond Wallace; special niece, Carolyn Dooley; special cousins, Clain and Kay Gravitt, Ellen Rider Thompson, Jerry and Dephene Gravitt; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Corn will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Dr. Scott Gilbert, Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Andy Wallace and Dr. Shannon Mize will officiate. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
